IEC Code Registeration

IEC (importer Exporter Code) number is a 10 digit code number given to an exporter or importer by the regional office of the Director general of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Department of Commerce, Government of India.

The Following documents are required to file the IEC code to DGFT

1.ID and address proof of Company/Firm and all Directors/ Partners.

2.Application Form duly signed and stamped on each inpidual page with 4 photograps along with Demand Draft of prescribed fees in favour of “Additional D.G.F.T., C.L.A.” as application fee in favour of the concerned Regional Office of DGFT. Money can also be paid through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). 

3.In case of Manufacturing unit (Registeration copy of VAT/SSI/MSME/ EXCISE) 

4.Certificate from the Banker of the applicant firm in the specified format.

5.Self certified copy of Permanent Account Number (PAN) issued by Income Tax Authorities. (In case of Company PAN is required for company as well as all Directors)

6.Two copies of passport size photographs of the applicant.

7.Photograph on the banker’s certificate should be attested by the banker of the applicant

8.Self addressed envelope and stamp of Rs. 35.

9.These documents may be kept secured in a file cover.

10.OTHER PAPERS IN CASE OF COMPANY or PARTNERSHIP FIRM :- 

A. MEMORENDUM AND ARTICLES Or PARTNERSHIP DEED 

B. LIST OF DIRECTORS or PARTNERS 

C. BOARD RESOLUTION or AUTHORISING LETTER 

D. FORM-DIR-8 – Appointment of Director/Key Managerial Person

E. FORM-INC-22 – Place of Registered office of Business 

F. PAN Card Business
